Rashford says he is Ready to Leave Manchester United

Rashford is leaving Manchester United

Marcus Rashford, who is still being linked to a transfer away from Manchester United, has acknowledged that he’s ready for a “new challenge.”

Rashford made headlines this week when he was benched from United’s team that defeated Manchester City over the weekend due to unruly behaviour during practice.

In addition to being jeered by some areas of the away end on Thursday night in the Europa League, the England international has been having a rough season.

Just hours before the match at the Etihad began, the forward and teammate Alejandro Garnacho, who was also left out of United’s squad to play City, trained at the club’s Carrington training facility.

The Interview with Henry Winter

However, there has been a lot of conjecture regarding Rashford’s future at Old Trafford ever since Ruben Amorim decided to leave him out. Rashford has now acknowledged for the first time that he is prepared for a fresh challenge outside of the team in an interview with journalist Henry Winter.

Personally, I believe I’m prepared for a new challenge and the following steps,” he stated. There will be ‘no bitter feelings’ when I depart. I’m not going to say anything bad about Manchester United to you. That’s me personally.

“I will not exacerbate a situation if I am aware that it is already dire. I don’t want to be the player who quits, as I’ve witnessed other players do. I’ll make a statement when I depart, and it will be my own.

When asked if he will always support United, he said, “Yes! 100%. 100%.” Rashford and Garnacho’s absences slightly overshadowed United’s late 2-1 derby victory, which was won thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad.

In response to Amorim’s call, the forward acknowledged that being left out was “disheartening.” “It’s disheartening to be left out of a derby but it’s happened, we won the game so let’s move on,” he stated.

Although it’s disheartening, I’m able to handle setbacks as I become older. How will I respond to it? Take a seat and weep over it. or give it my all the next time I’m free.”
