Real Madrid monitoring Both Vitinha and Zubimendi
Real Madrid are yet to decide on which midfielder to sign in January
Vitinha, 24, has become a vital figure in the Paris Saint-Germain squad after a challenging debut season. Last season, the Portugal international was everywhere, and Luis Enrique even named him the player of the season for Les Parisiens.
Even though his performance suffered in the autumn, Vitinha has remained a key member of PSG’s squad. He has participated in 20 games this season, starting five of Les Parisiens’ UEFA Champions League matches and tallying three goals.
His development has been acknowledged. Real Madrid is reportedly interested in signing the midfield player, according to a report from Diario AS.
Along with Martín Zubimendi (25), of Real Sociedad, the PSG player is a top target for the La Liga powerhouse, who are seeking to add a midfielder . Although Los Blancos is considering both midfielders, the team has not yet decided who is more important.
However, strengthening in this role is a top objective. Real Madrid has decided to end their chase of Franco Mastantuono, a sensation from the River Plate.
According to a Marca article, Mastantuono’s recent contract renewal with River Plate includes a €45 million release clause. Los Blancos aren’t going to spend that much money.
