Como’s Nico Paz is a product of the Real Madrid academy, which automatically grants him the possibility of an exciting future. There have been many exceptional players who came through the Madrid academy, including Casillas and Dani Carvajal etc.

Of course, there are also those  who came through the Real Madrid academy but didn’t exactly make it at Real Madrid. Examples are Juan Mata and Alvaro Morata.

For just €12 million, Real Madrid, who have first dibs, may sign Paz once more. It is not entirely dissimilar from Real Madrid to include a buyback clause in the sale of a departing player.

They are the best club in the world at anticipating needs, and they have done just that with Paz’s sale. In essence, it is comparable to a loan agreement.

The sole distinction is that Paz is not required to rejoin Real Madrid. If they decide to do so, they have to pay a cost that is minuscule compared to what other clubs might pay.
