Conor McGregor claims he will fight Logan Paul next

McGregor to fit Logan Paul in India

July 2021, McGregor broke his leg in a bout against Dustin Poirier and hasn’t featured in the UFC since. On his comeback to the octagon, he was supposed to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but he pulled out after hurting his pinky toe.

After overthrowing Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 in February, UFC featherweight title Ilia Topuria has called out “The Notorious.”
Using a crushing right hand to knock out Volkanovski in the second round, the Spaniard said to McGregor, “I will be waiting for you in Spain.”

However, McGregor has confirmed a startling next fight with Paul, putting an end to any rumours of a big battle with the UFC champion. “The rumours of a bout with [Ilia] Topuria are false,” McGregor said on Tuesday morning via X.

“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. “I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the octagon.”

McGregor has delved into the boxing world just once previously, in what was the sport’s biggest-ever crossover event.
