Key Real Madrid star to miss Arsenal clash through suspension

Tchouameni

Real Madrid is preparing for their Champions League match against Arsenal, following a victory against Atletico Madrid in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The initial match will occur at the Emirates Stadium in England, whilst the subsequent match will take place in the Santiago Bernabeu, providing them with a marginal advantage. The initial match will be challenging, particularly in the absence of a crucial player.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who has had a resurgence since the beginning of the year, is poised to miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final due to suspension.
Five Real Madrid players faced suspension if they received a yellow card against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday.

Aurelien Tchouameni to Miss First league against Arsenal

Tchouameni received a caution during the encounter, resulting in his absence for the away fixture in London. Tchouameni has performed quite well this year, particularly in the recent matches in his preferred position. Identifying the successor to the Frenchman is not challenging.

Eduardo Camavinga, praised by Carlo Ancelotti following the victory against Atletico, is likely to commence in his French compatriot’s position at the Emirates. Real Madrid would really benefit if he can replicate his performance from the second leg against Atletico.

Camavinga was exceptional during the 55 minutes he participated, executing six tackles, two interceptions, two clearances, and successfully completing 30 out of 31 passes.

If he can replicate another performance of such exceptionally high calibre, Real Madrid may not see Tchouameni’s absence as significantly, although he must exercise caution as he is in a comparable predicament with yellow cards.
