Rashford’s preference is Spain in case he leaves Manchester United

Rashford to make La Liga Switch

Rúben Amorim’s decision to snub Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of the match day squad against Manchester City has fueled a lot of speculations on Rashford’s future at the club.

According to reports Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad are monitoring Marcus Rashford’s situation at the moment. Many clubs have been put on alert after he was left out of Manchester United’s squad by Amorim.

Furthermore, TBR Football reports that clubs in Saudi Arabia continue to show interest in signing Rashford but the attacker has made it clear he does not want to move to the Middle East.

James Ducker reports that if Rashford leaves Manchester United, his preference would be to move to Spain. Still, it’s hard to envision any LaLiga club affording his wages unless he desires to take a pay cut.

Reports indicates that Barcelona have no interest in offering him a contract to rejuvenate his career as the Catalan side doesn’t have the money or the appetite to pursue Rashford.

Meanwhile, Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests United will be tempted with offers of around £40 million for the forward.

As for Paris Saint-Germain, Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic reports that the French giants have no interest in Marcus Rashford. In addition, Melissa Reddy of Sky Sports adds that no clubs are currently targeting him, pointing to concerns about his form, off-pitch behavior, and high salary.
