Arsenal and Liverpool are still keen on a potential transfer move for Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler, according to reports.
The two Premier League powerhouses are reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old midfielder. Guler is having difficulty finding playing time this season and might consider leaving, according to CaughtOffside.
The Turkey international has been consistently left out of the starting lineup by Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti. There have been rumors that Guler may depart on loan soon. However, it is believed that Guler wants to stay at Real Madrid. He thinks he will eventually break into the starting lineup, even though Liverpool and Arsenal are interested.
Guler isn’t having the best of days at Real Madrid, earlier this month there were rumors that he would return to Turkey.
Spanish media say Fenerbahce is closely monitoring Guler’s difficulties. Although he joined the team in the summer of 2023, he had a difficult start to life at Real Madrid.
Guler only started playing in the second part of the previous season due to a preseason injury and ensuing difficulties. He had strong play at the close of the season and even represented his country at Euro 2024.
